August Charity in Bloom: August 1 - 31st

Raising Awareness & Supporting Those Living with Sickle Cell Anemia

Charity in Bloom is a 12-month floral giving program created to support community causes through flower sales. During the month of August, we are highlighting Five Points Fantasy. $20 from every sale will be donated to the Sickle Cell Disease Association of Alabama.

This month, we dedicate our Charity in Bloom to Akira—a cherished member of our Customer Service team—and to all those affected by sickle cell anemia. Together, we can bring hope and healing through every bouquet. Akira lives with sickle cell, a chronic and often invisible illness that affects the shape and flow of red blood cells, leading to severe pain and serious complications. Through her strength, resilience, and positivity, she continues to inspire everyone around her.

Five Points Fantasy is Akira’s favorite arrangement; it is as vibrant, bold, and full of life as she is. By raising awareness and supporting vital research and advocacy, we hope to bring more compassion, visibility, and healing to this important cause.

Inspired by the vibrant energy and artistic spirit of the 5 Points South neighborhood in Birmingham, AL, Five Points Fantasy is a bold and whimsical arrangement reflecting the charm of this iconic area. Featuring lush blue hydrangeas, bright pink Gerbera daisies, striking bells of Ireland, and orange and magenta roses, this design feels as eclectic and lively as 5 Points itself. Whether you're gifting for a special occasion or "just because," this arrangement makes a colorful statement as unforgettable as a stroll through 5 Points South.
