Call Center Sales and

Customer Service

Call Center staff work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment with varying tasks and responsibilities. Answering telephones comes first, responding to customer requests and offering the best Norton’s has to offer.  As one of the largest florists in the country, we receive over 50 electronic orders/day as well, so when the phone’s not ringing, there are plenty of other orders to process and make sure they’re filled correctly.  Other duties include assisting drivers with deliveries, various marketing projects and confirming deliveries for customers—there is never a dull moment in the call center!

Call Center staff are not clerks—they are trained sales and marketing professionals who have customers’ and the company’s best interest in mind all of the time.  They don’t “take orders,” they offer the best solution Norton’s has available after “seeking” what customers want most.  They don’t get off the telephone as fast as they can, they recognize each caller could be one of the best, but not unless they serve them the way they want to be served.  Every caller and online order is treated like a customer, not just a number, with follow-up contact to ensure satisfaction or to learn what else we can do to for them.

Call Center staff are rewarded for their hard work with incentives and the means to increase their base pay.  Productivity and average order incentives are paid weekly to reward hard and “smart” work, and training is always available to learn and apply new skills for even more performance/productivity and reward, once

the basics are learned and mastered.  Other areas of potential development include website and internet marketing, corporate marketing and sales, sales promotion management and customer development management.
